Hello students and parents! My name is Alyssa D’Amicantonio, or Ms. D for short, and I am so excited to be here this year with you! I was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. I belong to the Saint Mary’s of Wappingers parish. This is my first time teaching in a school and I could not be more thrilled! It is going to be a great year filled with fun and adventures. I graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School in 2014. Straight out of high school I attended Dutchess Community College, where I graduated in 2016 with an Associates in Business Administration. After DCC, I moved to South Carolina for two years where I graduated in December of 2017 with my Bachelors in Human Resource Management. I am currently enrolled in the Mount Saint Mary college graduate program for childhood education with dual certification in special education. I decided to follow my childhood dream of becoming a teacher.
